The Complete Series
Six novels following Alexander Strange — the world's only full-time weird-news columnist.
Naples, FL —
Alexander Strange works the weird beat out of Naples, Florida, filing dispatches on the inexplicable, the outrageous, and the downright bizarre. Trouble has a way of finding him — and he has a way of finding it right back.
Alexander Strange is the world's only full-time weird-news columnist — a job that keeps him perpetually on the fringes of the inexplicable. When a routine assignment in Naples, Florida spirals into something far more dangerous, Strange discovers that the weirdest stories are the ones that can get you killed.
Strange is back on the weird beat, and this time the headlines are writing themselves — in blood. A Florida Man story goes viral, then turns deadly. Strange has to untangle fact from fiction before the story buries him. Kirkus Reviews called it 'a charming and suspenseful page-turner punctuated by dashes of the surreal.'
Winner of the 2022 Gold Medal for Best Published Mystery from the Florida Writers Association. Strange is pulled into a case that blurs the line between the genuinely weird and the genuinely criminal — and the deeper he digs, the more dangerous the story becomes.
Winner of the 2021 Gold Medal for Best Published Mystery from the Florida Writers Association. Strange navigates the murky waters — literal and figurative — of Southwest Florida, where the currents run deep and the secrets run deeper.
Silver Medal winner at the 2022 Royal Palm Literary Awards and the Florida Authors and Publishers Association Presidents Awards. Strange encounters a killer with a very particular code of conduct — and discovers that good manners can be the most dangerous cover of all.
The latest installment in The Strange Files series. Strange's timing has always been impeccable — showing up just when things get weird, just when the story turns dangerous, and just when Florida decides to outdo itself one more time.
