The Strange Files
Six novels. One reporter. Infinite Florida weirdness.
Alexander Strange is the world's only full-time weird-news columnist. Based in Naples, Florida — aboard his fishing trawler, the Miss Demeanor — he covers the stories no one else will touch. Author J.C. Bruce has been following his beat ever since they worked together at the Phoenix Daily Sun.
"Bruce's prose is consistently crisp and controlled, and the tension between the various characters is genuinely entertaining throughout. A charming and suspenseful page-turner punctuated by dashes of the surreal."
